Camino -we're on it! June 3. Bilbao to Castro Urdiales 29 miles

29 miles
So remember that the Spanish never sleep.  Delicious smells were wafting into our room about midnight
We awoke around 7 and both of us walked down the hall to separate bathrooms.  Only the door locked behind me and CC was wearing nothing but a towel.  We found some humor.  A little. I found more considering I was dressed andCC wasn't and we weren't sure how the scene would play out. Unfortunately my camera was locked in the room.  I did knock on a door that said , "privado and a sleepy man in his pjs came out. I explained what happened and all turned out well.

Ready to ride!

Passing the Guggenheim. Next time we'll visit!

Best river crossing yet!

Leaving Basque Province and entering Cantabria

The oh so familiar Camino shell and yellow arrow.

Walking at 2.5 mph. We'll get there whatever it takes.

We were so hungry we ate at 6 PM after a 2 hour nap!

This is a sweet seaside fishing village. We're staying at Pension Marina for 35 Euros.

Castro Urdiales

Buenas noches
