June 25, Saturday Vilalba to Guiritiz, 20 miles

Don't have the inclination to write today.  So many feelings and experiences to sort through. Can't find the words now.

Notes and lots of photos with captions:
The relentless lesson: take less stuff!
Today's ride- momentum hills are the best!
Cool, clouds and sun breaks
Can't understand the Spanish here since everyone speaks Galego but it's ok
It's a new day
Division of duties between us. So smooth
Recovery time - so essential
Timeless ageless feeling - focus on our daily rhythm- start out- solve the puzzle- of where to go, where to eat, where to rest and settle in
Endorphins -  a big deal
Our bodies respond to movement- overall feeling of well being
Not much media - immune or distanced from fears - time out of mind
Coffee!!
Hostal la Casilla - we are here tonight
Children's size camel pak -  I love having it- makes a huge difference in stamina and comfort for me
Difference of cycling from walking -  still have time and energy to wander afterwards - 6 miles or so most days but not yesterday - the day from hell
Coffee first!!

Craig waits (patiently) as I finish my coffee. The chains are oiled after yesterday's wet ride. What a guy!

The ravages of yesterday. The apple that was and the seat that is shredding!

Up again.  When the road no longer has two lanes in the same direction , we rejoice!

Galicia

Yes. This is accurate.  And it is in miles. I shocked myself.

Horreros.  I love them.

A Spanish woman- obviously not on the Camino!

Sent to us by a Spanish man after the Brexit vote.  No!!

It's 9 pm and we're the first to enter the dining room.

Still eating....

A fiesta in town tonight!
